Garden Studio
This contemporary garden studio, located in the London Borough of Newham, was designed as a flexible, self-contained space for modern living, working, and hosting. Complete with an ensuite bathroom and independent access from the street, it offers both privacy and versatility within a compact footprint.
Externally, vertical black timber cladding forms a striking yet understated façade, complemented by minimal black fittings that reinforce a cohesive, contemporary aesthetic. Large glazed doors open fully onto the garden, dissolving the boundary between inside and out while allowing natural light to shape the space throughout the day.
Internally, the design draws on subtle Scandinavian influences, with a soft, neutral palette, natural materials, and clean lines creating a calm and inviting atmosphere. Every element has been carefully considered to balance simplicity with comfort, ensuring the space feels both functional and refined.
The result is a thoughtfully crafted studio that integrates architecture and landscape, offering a quiet, elegant retreat tailored to everyday use.
