This Central London project, located within Westminster City Council, was designed for a growing family of five. The brief focused on improving connectivity between living spaces, increasing natural light, and introducing smarter storage solutions to support everyday family life with three young children.
The scheme involved extending both the lower ground and upper ground floors to the rear, creating a generous open-plan kitchen, dining, and living space. Floor-to-ceiling glazing and a large rooflight draw daylight deep into the plan, while establishing a strong visual and physical connection to the garden.
These interventions bring a sense of calm and openness to the home, introducing natural light and greenery into this urban home.
At upper levels, the layout was carefully reconfigured to create a spacious principal bedroom with improved views and a greater sense of privacy. The family bathroom was redesigned to better respond to the clients’ evolving needs and bespoke joinery integrated throughout to provide efficient storage.
The result is a contemporary home that supports modern family life with clarity, flexibility, and warmth.
